Professional Skills

Leadership

Monitor daily operations of a Pre-K to 12th Grade school with over 300 students and 35 members of staff.

Plan and organize course, supervision, lunch and specialty schedules for teachers, staff and students. Manage multiple calendars and addressed schedule conflicts.

Coordinate training plans and organize professional development opportunities for local and district teachers and administrators.

Advisor for students and parents; mentor to teachers, departmental leaders and fellow administrators.

Manage vendors; including Apple, Inc., Title 1 services, textbook publishers, IT services, furniture supply chains, etc.

Problem Solving

Evaluate, enhance and develop processes to increase the efficiency of daily operations. Yearly edits to school handbooks to address changes in school, district and state standards; support teaching staff with classroom management; promote a positive school environment and work culture; address conflicts between various school departments to promote mission-driven results.

Advocate customer needs/issues cross-departmentally; promote customer growth and engagement with the institution’s programs.

Risk/impact assessment and management; monitor changes to the school’s programs to identify possible risks to daily operations
and develop solutions to ensure the least amount of disruption to the affected programs.

Manage technology program and problem-solve technical issues; including managing user profiles for both Apple and PC products.

Strategic planning; including development of school-wide improvement action plans, development of retention plans, managing school relationships with stakeholders, etc.

Communication and Collaboration

Ensure effective communication and collaboration between administration, teachers and staff and other stakeholders.
